Preorders and Credit Card

People who pre-ordered months ago and received beta access already had their credit cards charged, right?  I am just curious because I was looking at upgrading to LE and it automatically added the 49.95 base game to my shopping cart even though I pressed the button for having already purchased the base game and just upgrading to LE.  Both the 49.95 base game and the $20 upgrade went into the cart, plus the added shipping cost.  I thought I had already paid for the base game months ago, but now I'm not sure?

Please let me know whether it's safe to remove the base game from my shopping cart and purchase just the LE upgrade separately?

When I purchased my up-grade months ago I was charged just the $20 by its-self on my bill as I already paid for the original game. I'd say there was a error somewhere or you clicked the wrong circle by mistake or something. Right now though purchase history through Impulse isn't showing where Anyone has bought the original game because the keys are disabled because of the beta being closed and them preparing for release.

If you had beta access (you were already charged) then the upgrade option should only charge the difference. Otherwise, if you ordered the download post-beta you can simply upgrade after release.

If you ordered a normal box post-beta though, you're going to want to contact [email protected] and preferably be in IRC at open of business Monday to try and get your order cancelled so you can re-place it as an LE box order. It's really down to luck and timing this late because once you have a standard box order charged and the list goes off to the shippers, you won't be able to upgrade or change the order anymore.
