I had this problem after the 2nd Beta Update as well. Never was able to get help on it. Decided to just wait for it to go Gold rather then nag. I also was not the only one with the same symptoms, but there was just a handful of us.
Unfortunately, the updated version has the same problem. (Mine updated today, 8/20/2010)
