Couple of small post-release suggestions.

Ideas that came to me last night at work

a) Is there a way to get the cloth map figurines for all map zooms?  I actually prefer the look of the cloth map at times to the in-game graphics.  Unsure if it would improve performance for anyone or not though.  Would be an interesting option

b) The intros from the betas- they should be kept somewhere as an option to fire up at launch- like how you could pick the intro to Civ IV when BTS came out.

c) Is there a way to equip heros from your own armory- in effect upgrading them, instead of buying from item shop?  This should make them unavaliable for a few turns if you do such.  Also can you turn a standard unit into a hero with an essence cost?

Just a few ideas off the top of my head before I crash.

I also would like the choice of loading movies ie the beta loading movie from beta 3 & earlier and the release.

i think it would be some good fun/humour.

On the first idea, you can already set the game to always play on the cloth map.  If you go to graphics, there's a "cloth map zoom level" (or something like that) slider, which, IIRC at 100 means that you never switch over to the 3D engine.

I like the Cloth View as I miss some things when plaing in 3d.

As new things pop up and troops and monster move into your areas, it makes for a great quick view.

Would not want to play in Cloth all the time but for an overview its great.

Perhaps a Mod will allow the Cloth Icons on the 3d map, the monsters and such. Or a change in FX that looks quite like it.
