I'm trying to play CIV 4 and of course there is a lot of micromanaging. The question: Is there very much micromanaging in Elemental?
Most likely, since you need to juggle troop production, homeland security, technological upgrades, expansion, exploitation, all the other 4X stuff, plus a few other things.
Less than Civ IV, since not every city can always be building something due to more scarce production system and having "less stuff". On the other hand, Civ IV had much better ways of "reminding" you to micro, or assisting you (auto-worker, city governors, pop-ups). This is up to date with Beta IV. Gold/Day-0 may be completely different and much easier to micro.
