Some gameplay questions and ordering.

Hey everyone, i heard about this game a while back but didn't really check this out till few days ago and i must say this game looks really good (like a totally upgraded dominions 3 :D) but i do have a few question in my mind that hopefully someone can clear it for me. I had run through a few major thread, videos and search but none of them really help. >.>

1. From all i see only Sovereign can cast spell right? If not what other units can?

2. Can we create units that cast spells?

3. Are quests and places random generated while you are playing? (as in endless quests and place to go)

4. GameFaqs stated that Australia is getting theirs on the 19th Aug 2010, but no shop here seem to have it in their catalog and they don't seem to have limited edition as well. So what is my best beg to get the limited edition as early as possible?

Thank you for the help and sorry if someone already asked these questions.

You as the sovereign can choose to imbue your heroes with some of your own essence to enable them to cast spells. Or you can keep it all for yourself so you can knock out lots of the big spells. It's your choice.

Mundane trained units can't cast spells, though summons, recruited creatures, or special units may have special abilities in a similar vein. That sort of stuff would be easily modded though to suit your personal tastes.

More powerful and difficult special locations and creeps appear as the game progresses. I don't *think* the locations respawn once visited (offhand, could be mistaken).

The surest way to get the limited edition would be to order direct from us. The primary launch is Aug 24, though I'm not sure offhand what our AUS partners have planned specifically. Their box versions and contents may vary.

tofues, you could try jb hifi as they are willing to order in, and also both game & ebgames are ordering in on the central coast of nsw

In Western Australia, JB Hifi does not have Elemental and can't order it in, Game doesn't have it and can't order it in, and EB Games doesn't have it but can order the standard version in (but not the limited).  So I would say in most cases, you can't get the Limited Edition through an Australian retailer.

Best regards,
Steven.

I have tortured some nsw store managers to find out that australia does not have the limited edition available, only the standard edition, so if you want the limited edition stardock is the only practical choice.

and what is worse, each chain has a different release date jb hifi was told the 19th of august(and was misled by the distributor all interactive distribution), eb games was told the 9th of september(do not know, but suspect all interactive distribution) and game has the 30th of september (also all interactive distribution).

you would think that a single distributor would give out the same info to each of the chains it deals with, but it appears that they do not know what is happening OR CARE!
