A bit worried...

First of all, hello! :)

I read yesterday something that left me really worried about this game.

"This weekend I have to really get on the AI. It’s still nowhere near where I want it to be for release. Heck, it doesn’t even do the “Your civilization makes me laugh, give us 50 gold or we’ll crush you!” type stuff."
"Scott (Boogie) has been working on the cut scenes like crazy."

 

Two important things are still being worked on. I'm really concerned with the AI which seems to be really struggling right now, according to Frogboy. AI is one of the most important thing in this kind of game to make it really shine and have good replayability. This little piece of disturbing information has left me wondering if I should buy this game as it seems to be simply rushed.

Anyone else worried?

Nope.  I am not worried one bit.  I can't wait till release. 

 

The only thing that worries me are bees and chia pets.  Okay, they disturb me more than worry me.  8|

In any case, as Brad has said, if you're worried, just wait a month or two before you play. We'll be continuously improving the game as time goes on either way.

Rubbish Frogboy AI = Well above average AI.  OK Frogboy AI = Brilliant standard AI.

 

And cut scenes are usually the last thing to do since they don't affect the rest of the game.

I'm worried about an alien invasion more than I'm worried about Elemental... Just think about it, we might be the caviar of some far away civilization and they could be plotting ways to serve us right this very moment! What If they want to serve us up while we are alive and they have a knack for stuffing their food... THAT worries me.
