If you can use PayPal that will be available for use upon release. Otherwise, you could try contacting [email protected] about the possibility of mail-orders (check, etc). We're open to adding new payment methods but that sort of thing takes time and investment so it probably won't happen in the near term.

Other than ordering direct, you'd need to go through an importer or see if any other online stores that ship to EU stock the US/Canada box version.

@MasterKroket, the simplest thing you can do, really, is getting a prepaid card.

In Italy there are several (I have PostePay, which is handled by the main national mail organization, and operates like a Visa). They are cards that must pre-charged specifically (even with small amounts of money - say, 200 €) and then you can use them on the credit cards circuit.

I do have a regular credit card too, but I only use the prepaid one for internet as it's safer (a hacker can only steal so much from a prepaid card!!!) . Hope it helps

I already preordered the limited edition and it will be shipped to europe. It does have higher shipping costs then the states though and if im unlucky they catch my package at the border and ill have to pay even more.

That is exactly the problem. They wont ship the box to anywhere else than the US. Downloads are available but need a creditcard. I would allready have bought the unfinished Game in Beta Stage if that wouldnt have required a Creditcard. 

All we can hope for is that they will "release" the game in Europe a few months later like most of the companies do. 

kormus, they have billed me to ship the le box to australia, so I see no reason why they could not ship it to europe.

I'm not too familiar with Impulse. Is there an option to gift items from the store to other people? If so, I might be able to help out those living in the European Union and lacking a credit card.

Hm, still sounds kinda risky. Im desperate but not a scam supporter. But if you are willing to trust me ill send you the money (if you got a europen bank account) when i hold the box in my own hands. Thats a promise.

Kormus you can order the boxed edition on Impulse. Then it will allow for shipping to europe. You have to use a creditcard for that though or you will have to wait till the game is released and pay with paypal.

Understandable, I got scammed myself on Steam forums recently. Though I'd prefer if the payback criteria would rather be "if it pops up in my Impulse account." Plus, I'm not exactly sure, how the whole "I gift someone a box" thing would go down. For that, I'll probably need more than just an email address.

Preordering through Impulse you can preorder the option of Digital Edition plus Box, which would be sent to your place once released the game.

As well as the creator of this thread i dont have a credit card. And until now i thought you need a creditcard for the PayPal account. Thanks for your advice and help. I think im demanding too much but the real box version is one of the things pirates are not able to copy and even in the times of steam or impulse i think a box is something more worth to buy than some bytes and pictures.

Make a friend in the USA (or some where non Europe) send them a cashiers note/check for price of Elemental and have thempurchase it on your impulse account.  Then you can download it whenever you like!

Wow looks like this thread finally got underway and i am not the only one with problems...

I do not have a creditcard but i found someone who does.

Still unclear though does the box ship to europe or do we have to download via impulse, i greatly prefer the box.

BTW if someone else buys it for u does that change anything, it's not like i need all kinds of codes or something, i thought stardock disliked stuff like that.

Whichever you order. You can opt for a box (you still get the download in addition) or just the download alone.

They can purchase it as a gift and the serial key will go straight to your account.

can you plz tell me if we can upgrade our game to LE after 24 august ?

In the past we've continued to offer the download->box upgrade after release, so it should be open as long as LE supplies last. Obviously if you've ordered a standard box though I wouldn't expect to be able to upgrade that once it ships.

i have the digital version because the boxed version cost me 20$ for shipping and if i don't have luck around 30 euro taxes

i want first to see the impression from ppl about the LE if its good i will upgrade it

So I guess IDEAL for the Netherlands like WoW and Steam (sorry for the swearing :)) have. Is not going to be an option soon to purchase this game?
