Will the game be available in french at the release date (24th of august) ?

When I asked the same for Italian I was told not, that the game will only be available in English. I wonder if all the XML goodness would allow a community translation project.
You'll be able to do a translation as a mod. There's no single file for strings, though, so you'd basically have to go through each XML and change all the name/description fields for everything.
Since the game won't be at retail in Europe, it would make little sense to translate it given the costs and market sizes. Unless Quebec players are more numerous than I'd think.
