[Suggestion] Allow transfer of equipment between members of a party

I have my sovereign with some nice leather armor who completes a quest that gives him some spectacular armor which he immediately uses, however, I have not been able to discover any way to give that leather armor to one of my other party members so that they can improve their defense.  So far all I have been able to do is sell it back to the merchant and buy the same thing at double the sale price to equip my party member; and that is only after I go back to town.

Just drag the items from the items tab in the bottom UI to the icon of the unit on the right.

Yeah, no problem. They just need to be in the same group and on the main screen (not the character's inventory screen) just drag it to the other party member's head.

you can also trade by dragging the item to the hero/champion portrait or even  a stack on the map...

Although you can't for example, purloin a greatsword some hapless merchant is wielding before he injures someone. Personally, I would like to be able to trade off starting gear as well.
