Pinned threads showing up twice

I don't know if this was a deliberate change or not, but pinned threads are now showing up in both the top "Pinned Posts" section, and in the "Recently Active Posts" sections.

You need to identify in which forums this is happening.  This thread is showing up in the WinCustomize forums.

I see it in the Elemental forums.

It's happening in all of them here on the Elemental site as far as I can tell. Every time someone makes a reply to one of the pinned threads the thread its-self gets duplicated and re-posted in the lists with the non-pinned threads. It seems kinda "Spammy" if you ask me.

What's more important than that however is the big logo getting in the way of hitting "My Replies", "My Posts", and a lot of the other post and thread controls. What the hell are the web coders doing, sitting around with their thumbs up their asses? This should have been Addressed Immediately as soon as it was noticed. It's not like people are complaining because one or two obscure devices (iPad) or browsers (Chrome/Firefox) are having issues. We're talking about THE MOST COMMON WEB BROWSER ON EARTH. Any other browsers or devices should be considered as secondary since IE comes with Every Computer Running Windows.

You don't need to post that in every topic.  One was enough to get my attention :)

I'm trying to remember if this was by design or if something is wrong.  I think the pinned posts are just to keep specific posts always at the top, but when someone replies they show up in the regular list like any other post, so that they get visibility.

Sorry Bara, my bad. I just felt the main problem was being...over looked.

On a side note, wasn't this tested on various browsers internally before it was implemented? It's irrelevant now that it's fixed, but it might be something to think about before changes are implemented next time around. ;) :)

Great job fixing it btw :) I'm much happier now, though now the background color is the color of baby crap...not so good, but that's just my opinion. I thought the black background was better.

P.S. The pinned posts didn't duplicate when they were replied to before. It's something new since the change.

I do test them in all major browsers.  Not sure how I didn't catch that it was broken in IE7.  It's possible that I tested IE8 thinking it was IE7.

He's right, that's why I made the original post.
