New Elemental feature, border wars! Actually, it would be kind of cool to have nations argue over disputed territory.

It may have to do with how quests often have a village or workshop that counts as part of your territory until you remove it.  Maybe this happened and the game got confused.  (Just a theory.)

Savegames would be helpful to find out why this is happening if you see it again.

I think it was caused by neighboring city growing to level 4 and claiming land between my two cities.  I increased prestige to reclaim the land and that's when it started happening.  I checked my saved games, but the borders look okay.  I will send a game if it happens again.

I had a similar issue in beta 3C : https://forums.elementalgame.com/388758

The AI had built two cities on top of each other and the borders went insane... But after a reload borders were back to normal. Cities were still on top of each other though and you could only enter one of them.
