Game Settings:
Playing in windowed mode @ 1280 * 1024. Advanced lighting is off, frame rate unlimited, atlas size @ 1024 * 2048, normal ground cover, high res shadows, everything else should be defaults. Playing with all ambient / music / event music off. Auto saves every 2 turns / tactical battles always.
Performance / Cores:
Performance was supposed to have greatly improved since the last beta but I'm not seeing any noticeable changes. One thing I've noticed while playing the game is that according to the Task Manager, my CPU usage never goes past 50%. So it looks like the game is completely ignoring one of my cores - not too good at all; this could be an explanation of my performance issues however. In general I'm still getting something like 15 fps (like I have been since Beta 2 practically).
Memory usage:
I've been trying to see if I could encounter the illusive memory leak; I don't think I have run into it yet. Right now I am at turn 72 and the game is using roughly 890 megs (according to Task Manager). Memory has jumped by ~12 megs during parts of the game (like when I get a message about some other civ building something) but it has usually gone back down.
