What happened to rivers? I saw them in Beta 1, then they disappeared and haven't come back. Are they going back in somtime? They are an important terrain feature that shouldn't be left out.
I think they haven't been in the Beta 3 because they were still working on artwork for them in the 3D engine, maybe we'll see them in beta 4?
no they had an issue on them generating right some were going into ocean as in over it.
Stardock: If rivers have been scratched, reconsider. To unique a landscape, strategically plan a city are few of rivers naturally flowing benefits.

I'm pretty confident that rivers are still in. They have some problems with them and since they aren't such a huge priority, won't probably be addressed during betas.
Yeah, when originally implemented, rivers were being generated right on top of the ocean. Also, if I recall correctly, river deltas were being formed in weird places as well.
I'm sure they'll eventually come back.
IIRC Boogie has mentioned that they are reworking the river system.
I... I've never seen a river. Are there any screenshots that exist of such a thing?
