.92[suggestion][bug?] 'this does not fit unit'

I have no idea why certain characters cannot wear certain items. I get a generic message 'this does not fit unit' many times when I would think something should be usable, like boots on a human. I would suggest adding text to the item descriptions that would indicate who is eligible to wear certain items and/or an indicator when purchasing an item that shows that the person buying it cannot wear it.

Also, not sure if it's by design but I was able to equip more than two magic rings. Most games limit rings to one per hand, I have no problem with being able to wear one per finger but I thought I would mention this in cas it was a bug. In my case it was the "+5 hit point" rings, I was able to equip three.

I couldn't my Sov or Queen with the soldiers cloak, yet the other champions were able to wear it.  I'm playing a Kingdom faction, and can't see any reason why the cloak isn't equipable by the sov or queen.

On a side note, the unit type for the sov isn't champion or even sovereign anymore.  When he goes up a level it says he is now a level X "sovereign name', like his name is his unit type.  Haven't paid attention to what it says for the queen.  Maybe that has something to do with the 'this does not fit' thing?

It would appear that having your base Sovereign outfit include a cloak makes it impossible to "upgrade" to a better cloak with stat boosts later.

Seems kinda messed up now.  And I've had custom sovies unable to wear boots or cloaks even though I did NOT give them any boots or cloak in the sovie design screen.

My current sovie was not able to wear the cheapo greaves she found early in the game, but she can wear the full leather armor I made later.  Just don't understand.

Agreed - something's up with the clothing.  Even if there's a good reason, it at least needs to be made clear.
