Hangs on first screen when started

from Stardock Forums

Beta3C stopped working on my two computers(one is xp32 other is vista64). Gets to first screen and just hangs there and does nothing, its weird because the problem started on my laptop and desktop all around the same time and it was working fine up till a few days ago. Have to close it with task manager.

Yep I have had this problem since beta 2a (I've never managed to get past the splash screen since then).

You should probably move your question to the beta forum. If you want you can post your details in the thread I already created (Stardock officials has answered there and will look through that thread again I am sure). What you want to do is to create a DxDiag file and find the debug.err and upload them to dropbox, pastebin etc.

DxDiag: Open your start menu and type dxdiag in the search field. Run the program... :)

Debug.err: C:\Users\[YOUR NAME]\Documents\My Games\Elemental    (the debug.err file is here)

I just wanted to say that you should try to follow the instructions I recieved in the thread I posted a link to above. I am up and running again.
