3C-bugs/gameplay - dynasty children weaker than other champions

I manage to catch a spouse and try out on dynasty. Of 4 children born, i notice that their stats are are worse than most champions I pick up wandering in my kingdom.

I take the ave stats points in either str/int/cha/con/agi to be 10 as per starting game

First child - 12str/7agi/5int/5cha/9con

Second child - 10str/1agi/7int/5cha/7con

Third child - cant remember but has 3 stats 5 and below

Fourth child - cant remember but also has 3 stats 5 and below

I really do hope that this is not intentional and get boosted abit to 7 - 9 range before actual launch

how are you getting four children? im getting like 1.  and yes, i do hope they get boosts as well.  theyre useless currenly

I was thinking it would be interesting if they had an essence based on an average of the parents.  So a 20 essence sovereign and 0 essence champion would have 10 essence kids, then if they had children with 0 essence it would be 5 and so on.  Now this would make intermarrying with other dynasties quite useful in order to keep essence levels up =)

I believe its all random for getting children. Slowly but eventually you will get all your 4 children

:grin: none of my games last long enough .. since 3c I have only seen 1 child and they never made it to adult hood before I or and AI had eliminated all others.. there is another thread in which we discussed this and here is what I said

 

unless the retail version radically slow down pacing the current ratio seems way to far the other way from where it was.. I think some where in between where it was and now is would be fine.. I mean after all having one or tow offspring joining you in the field is not only fun but a god alternate way to get more heroes...
