I know you have to hit the August retail spot, but we all know what code quality comes out of crunch-time.

Why not just take a chill pill and delay until Feb?

 

I just can't see how you're going to have a game fit for release in August.

 

Am I missing something?

Delayed or not, ready or not, the time to judge is on release day and not one day sooner, till then, we have stardocks previous track record and trust to go on:)

any chance any of those details still exist in an archived form on a forum somewhere, i never knew about stardock till after i got sins, and didn't bother with the forums till i pre-ordered element.  Sounds like interesting reading ^^

If they are, I wouldn't know where. Your best bet would probably be to dig around the really, really old posts on the forums, but I have no idea if you would find anything. I'm just repeating what Brad and beta testers who were there have said.

Kyrogre ... they could still release it in February ... and probably not have any more reprecussions then if they had made the same delay decision a month ago.

This is pretty obnoxious. If you feel the game is being rushed (just like people thought GalCiv was rushed and Sins was rushed and so on) then feel free to wait until February to play it.
