[Crash] [Beta 3c] Crash upon success of armor quest

Started the Armor (of whatever) quest.  Fought the spiders with no game problems.  Upon exiting the quest and returning to the main screen (overland map), the game music stopped, the game hung for a bit, then crashed to desktop.  Dropbox link above to zip.

Confirmed. This quest worked in 3b but ive tried it twice in 3c and it crashed reliably. Windows Vista 64.

AutoSave, .Err, Prefs, Dxdiag all posted to http://www.deadlyshoe.com/elemental/armorquest.rar

 No dump file.

 As a commentary on the quest itself, the spider monsters visual appearance seems to only loosely correspond to their threat. In particular, the Hoard Spider is a pushover but Greg the Spider looks like any ol creepy crawly.

Let me 2nd or 3rd that :) yup exact same quest will crash me out to the desktop (have only tried tactical battle so far) - i win the battle and then CTD straight away - and yes completely agree re the appearance - i thought holy crap when i saw the big spider - a couple of firestorms and they all went down but that teeny weeny one took quite the pounding! :D

yeah i wanted to post the same

 

greg the spider should be more strong ( but we still miss abilities from combat, maybe greg will have some powerful poison or a web to trap everybody ! ! )
