Has anyone followed the development of this game? It will soon be released, but it has completely avoided my radar. Looks interesting though!

I didnt notice the game being available in Impulse. I see that the price is about the same and the release is worldwide. Thats great. I wll have to wait until I get my new laptop later this autumn, but I will follow feedback from the game until then. Good strategy games are few and far between, but ofcourse Elemental and Civ V are promesing!!
Getting bonus items with preorders are a bad thing though 
Why should I order the game later when I know that others have a better game just because they preordered?? Give the preorders a discount or something. Dont strip the game!! I realize that this is not Stardock`s desicion.
