We must all be ready for the impending apocalypse.

We all know that some day, somewhere, the zombie apocalypse will begin. The question is; Are You Ready?

What is your plan? What will you wear? How will you defend yourself? Which family member will you be most likely to push in front of you sacrifice yourself to save? Will there be chainsaws, or more importantly - do you have the muffins?

To gauge your preparedness and what your expectations are for the inevitable zombie apocalypse, there is The Zombie Survival Sheet!

The sheet:

So, "zombies", in fact, cannot run. This is, of course, according to George Romero. Since he would know.

Anything else is unnatural.

Or simply refer to them as persons whose metabolism has been slowed to such a state they only appear to be dead.

I could never get into all that Hollywood zombie crap... not too fussed with all that recent vampire crap, either.

Nah, if I want horror, I just turn on the 6 o'clock news.

Ragers aren't even dead, let alone un-dead.

Rigor mortis, however, dissipates after a maximum of 72 hours. There have been numerous zombies not only running, but some even jumping! (Mostly shambling, though).

The recent vampire crap has nothing to do with vampire crap in general! It's just crap!

The horrors of the 6 o'clock news isn't the fun kind of horror, though. Just the suck kind.

I agree with Luckmann, the Vampire story is dead, no pun intended, I found the Cinobytes from Hellraiser to the scariest new monsters in the last 30 years. That shaping shifting alien in The Thing, Carpenter's version, scared the crap out of me also. I would not let my cat in the room with me after I saw that!The undead flesh eating zombie freaks me out also!

I've been preparing for zombie outbreak long enough to know I'm not going to be filling out an inventory and posting it online for all to see--then you'll know my strategy, and how do I know you're not working for "them"?  This thread is a trick!  This thread is for harvesting b-r-a-i-n-s!

Please, don't send the zombies to Washington DC.  DC is actually full of smart brains.  Look they 'convince' the mass of voters in the US to reelect them while they pass laws that continue to drive the poor even lower, continue to reduce the middle class's assets (and their homes), and at the same time, transfer massive wealth to the richest of 'persons.'  The truth is, most of us 'regular' people have become the voting zombies. "Voting zombies" - the scariest zombies of all time.  Be afraid, be very afraid.

 

 

BTW,  cats -lol was great.
