[.90] [Bug] [Gameplay] Killed Janusk by accidental while building city

I manged to kill Janusk by accident while, building my city.   I never accepted him as my adviser, and he was standing right next to me as I built a improvement in my city and  I moved into his square and cut him down.

I think the game should check and if possible not move you into other NPC  tiles.   Maybe just place him into the city or something and have a message that says ,"XXXX has entered the city of  XXX".

Speaking on the subject, could it be possible to pick the tile you come out of when you exit a city? I really don't like the random placement.

I came across a similar scenario when I joined my first .90 game.

I recruited the first NPC and then walked next to the 2nd NPC to attempt a recruit.  I accidentally hit the wrong mouse button and instantly kill him.   In the last beta it seemed like we needed to specifically hit the attack icon to attack NPCs and this appears to have changed.

I guess it is possible that I am in the minority, but I really felt that neutral NPCs should not be attacked unless you specifically want to kill them.   I can understand defaulting a move to attack if you are at war with someone..

That being said.. what are the real negatives to killing neutral NPC's?  I never kill them because of the nasty screen that comes up that you are an evil mortal for killing your own kin... yada yada yada..

Something similar happened to me: An NPC went to the goodie hut I had sent my sovereign to. The sov killed him when he arrived there and I got that message about how evil I am. -_-

I had this same thing occur as well.  I was unable to talk to an adventurer nearby, which I still don't understand, but after multiple times trying to click on their square over multiple turns, my sovereign finally just moved over and killed the NPC in one shot.  The game then proceeded to tell me about my evil deed.  So uhhh.. what gives?
