[.90][How to?] Tactical battles???

Jumped into the game. Saw a spider so I wanted to try out the tactical battles. But when I attack it I don't get any choices. It just insta-battles as per previous.

Am I missing something or a setting?

There has to be a total of 4 units or more to engage in a tactical battle. I'm guessing you have less than 4?

Yes. That was it. Tried it again and it started.

Only problem being my bloody nVidia card made everything go blurry again so tried alt-tabbing to fix it (no options in battle by the looks). Created a DX Error when coming back and then the game crashed. :(

Please provide your debug.err file when reporting issues like this, and also the memory dump if the crash created one.
