Janusk Goes on a killing spree thanks stardock!

i invaded a town by selecting a few of my very large army (because its a pain to get each indivual unit out of towns and ships X| ) and i conquered it because it was empty...

this must have upset Janusk because he decided he needed to kill SOMEONE haha!

Do you have a save prior to the attack that you can reproduce this from? If so, it may be helpful.

i wasnt able to find THAT save but i loaded an earlier save of the same world and i was able to recreate what happened but reverse then my game froze, i tried it twice now with the same result

i select janusk, rilis, yoejl, and my summoned wilding to attack a town and they attack it as individuals, janusk attacks first and dies, and Rilis attacks and for some reason its her and almost the entire town on the same team.

how do i get you my saved game?

I have been able to also find this.

This is related to the fact, that units do not move as an army but move individually if you select them like shown in the screenshot below.

In the case that you select units in this way and attack someone the units fight one after the other with the enemy. This happened to me also when attacking an enemy selecting some units in this way (i did not want to include my pioneer in the attack) and 7 of my units were then killed one by one by a seemingly weaker enemy.

The attack works just fine if you do NOT mark the units as shown in the screenshot.

Here is the corresponding savegame to reproduce the issue.

Conclusion: The army management needs some serious polish. There are several suggestions in the beta and Ideas forum on this matter.

yes i assumed that was the reason, its obviously avoidable, but annoying until they change hoe units get out of cities and transports

This is potentially a much bigger issue when attacking out of the city garrison because that's the only way to select units.
