Is there a single good trailer for this game?

i'm a long time gal civ fan, but until today i had almost completely forgotten about this game due to it's non coverage in the gaming media. that's to be expected given that it's an indie game in a niche genre, but now that i know how cool it's going to be i want to show it to my friends. only problem is, there doesn't seem to be a single good trailer up.

the trailer in the gameplay section doesn't seem to work for me: at least, it only seems to show the top left corner of the video, and seemingly contains no gameplay footage, just lore and art (and there's no option to, for example, share on facebook or twitter. everything on the first page of youtube is either dull beta footage with voieovers, interviews, ancient footage, shaky cam stuff from conventions, or the by now ancient teaser artwork trailer.

is there nothing out there that shows some good looking gameplay and makes it look dramatic? where are the cool spell effects, combat and units i can design? you can say you're game isn't getting good enough press, but there's only so much you can blame on a biased media.

It's funny that you mention this, Sethai, because I thought of the same thing a while back. I've been working on a professional trailer for this game (with all the bells and whistles) the past couple of weeks (won't be done until after the 3B beta phase though). Don't know if Stardock has anything planned..

There hasn't been an "official" trailer as of yet, but you can check the Stardock YouTube for some of the beta videos and such.

We have time put aside once the game is gold...'till then, a trailer would just use up valuable 'make game good' time ;)

even still, how hard would it be to get the trailer (intro?) from the gameplay section up on youtube? you don't have anything on ign, eurogamer or gamespot either? sometimes it's like you're not even trying.

Pfah. I thought trailer-making was intern-work.
