[0.806][Graphics] No sovereign, no map!

Hey there, first post for me!

 

So, aside from a very laggy main menu background that has already been reported, I have two major problems.

 

First, I don't see any sovereign model. Instead, there's just a white, empty space.

Similarly, I don't see anything on the map. Just white and empty.

I bet both issues are linked somehow.

Have you tried turning off advanced lighting in the video options menu?

Start11 - Customize the Start Menu and Taskbar in Windows 10/11.

It's a known issue, been around for several betas, at least since Beta 2, maybe before.  But this forum moves so fast it's easy to miss things like that.
