[Crash Beta 3A] CTD when sovereign attacked by enemy army

My sovereign and one other NPC were in a stack next to an enemy army consisting of one four man squad and two lone warriors, six enemies total. I saved the game before I hit next turn and every time I reload that game I get the close to desktop.
