[Bug Gameplay 3A] No garden/farm improvements available

I was not able to build any food producing buildings in any of my cities.  Only the city that had a food resource, wheat, allowed me to build a building to take advantage of the resource.  This provided enough food to let me build huts to get two of my cities above first level but I was never able to go beyond that.

I have this as well... even If I make my city 1 square away from fertile land and have farming researched a farm is never an option.. cannot build any food producing buildings.

they took out the garden, so you can only get food from a food resource now. I am not a big fan of this new system myself.

I have this too. It won't let me harvest the fertile land next to my city either, even after research. All my cities are now limited to stage 1. :'(

 

There are simply no food creating options loading in the buildings list.

I had this problem also, even after researching harvesting, farming & advanced farming. A second game had similar problems for a while, though eventually I was able to build a farm. It was unclear what eventually allowed it.

Some way to check what buildings we cannot yet build & why would be nice, because I'm still unclear whether there was some reason I was being prevented from building a farm.

I just read on the general forum that to use a resource you might have to have already constructed buildings next to it. That kinda sucks now if true (at least for me that is).

Play as Altar, farms work fine.

Some of the other factions seem a bit broken; no matter what research you have or positioning you choose the options to build just aren't available.

I was using capitar and was able to build a farm just fine.

I can build farms as Altair so long as I have something finished next to the resource.  

 

I actually preferred being able to build in your territory for certain resources though even if it was a bug.  Typically large farm lands and mines aren't in city walls.  I think things would be better like that if there was an option to raid those buildings to capture resources if they weren't defended.

you should definitely be able to build farms and mines on resources in your territory, it shouldn't have to be contiguous.
