Things I Would Like To See Before Feature-Lock

Not big changes, but minor tweaks:

A way to reload without exiting the game first.

An explanation as to why you apparently can't talk to some NPC's (the dialogue balloon is crossed out).

I'd like to see Spy units and more espionage.

Oh and a VSync enable check box!

I'm almost positive that will be in the final version. IIRC, that was done only for beta testing to minimize out of memory crashes.

If you hover over the crossed out dialogue balloon, I believe it does give you an explanation, like "Unit is outside of your territory" or it will give you the recruitment cost it it's too high for you to afford.

Isn't there a tech that gives you some kind of espionage?

Hovering the mouse pointer over the hero you want to hire, but can not does not provide a text explination for me as well.

I'm pretty sure I found this as well. If there IS something, presumably the fact several of us missed it completely suggests maybe it should be more obvious to the player? Of course there is an element of RTFM to that.... My general game-manual strategy is that I either

a) Read the manual while it installs

b) Read the manual if i'm on the bus/train/whatever on way home with a new game.

Otherwise it remains unread until/unless I get a "RTFM" moment :-$

Click on the hero and hover over the box in the bottom left corner that's crossed out, and it should give you a description. Hovering over the hero won't give a decription, though. It certainly could be made more obvious, but you can get a description.

The reload issue is for the beta only but will be replaced in the end game, Stardock (Frogboy most likely) said so earlier.
