[Beta 3A][Freeze] Game stops responding while exploring

The game just froze while I was exploring around with my sovereign. As far as I know nothing interesting was happening. I wasn't about to research any tech or spells, wasn't going to a tile that had something in it, nobody was attacking me. My farm was near completion, but doubtfully that's the reason?
