[Bug/Gameplay] Brilliant trait breaking research screen

I was playing a custom leader/faction and chose the brilliant trait for early research. I was conducting research on blank paths. Following screenshot will explain it better than I ever could in words.

It has nothing to do with the trait, but the custom faction. Research (and trait) works fine with default factions, just not custom ones.

Custom factions having no tech trees should be fixed now internally.
