[Beta 3/Bug] Can't Create a Lumbermill

Researched the Civilization Tech

I've got a city with an Old Growth Forest within its zone, in fact nearly abutting my buildings.  I've already built two farms on fertile land, and have researched the Civilization tech needed to build lumbermills, but I can't get the "lumbermill" option to come up on my build display.  What am I doing wrong, or is this a bug?  I've also built a market, a palace, all the improvements you might expect at this level of development.  Am I missing a precursor building requirement for a lumbermill?

Failing that, what else can I do to enhance my pathetic materials production?

I am and I can't. Must just be a kingdom thing.

What constitutes playing Empire? I reported this as a bug yesterday, and if playing the top races, the good guy races, ones that had wood mills in previous builds... well then its a bug because I have it as well. No lumber mill shows up in the build que after you have researched it.

Please check this out . Kingdom, top races, empire bottom races? Well then we have a bug.

I'm the one who originally posted this topic...no, I cannot build a lumbermill, playing as Kingdom.

Unfortunately, after 5 tries I can't load my saved game, it either freezes on loading, or goes into a loop showing the panning intro screen over and over, so I can't go back and get the exact name of the ruler and kingdom I was playing.

I have exactly the same problem playing Lord Relais, Kingdom of Alta.  I could not build lumber mills or mine crystals.

The save games also for me are refusing to load so there may be a connected glitch.  The only thing is this game lasted the longest of any of the games that I have been playing over the last couple of days. ie before the crash and save games refusing to load.  ( I think it is all part of Frogboy's plan to make us test all of the rulers and factions as quickly as possible ;)   )

This is the crash report from that game.  Hope it helps

From my experience, save games wont always load. What I do is, I open the game through impulse and try to load the save. If it doesn't work, I try opening it by clicking on the shortcut which opens a menu and than hitting play. Usually this will load the save for me or if it doesn't at first, I do it a few times and eventually the save will load.

I also have this problem, playing as Lady Procipinee and Kingdom of New Pariden

2 of my 3 towns are near forests, both normal and old growth, yet no lumberyard option available, even though it was the first item I researched

Same here, custom sovereign though using men and kingdom, not empire.

I suspect it is because the lumbermill was 4 tiles and the old growth forest is 1.
