Yeah. I have a big overpowered desktop and this latest build crashes pretty much nonstop. The game is going to be killer when it's ironed out. Probably going to be on the hard drive for many years.

Loaded another 3 turn crash.  Will try to play again.  How do you share multiple debugs from dropbox it doesnt want to give me more links?

Are you renaming the file to something other than debug.err before moving it to your dropbox public folder?  I usually rename my debug.errs to debug+date+time.err.

Without the .dmp file the reports don't do us much.

Well, the crash report file is a zip.  So even though it contains other files a bit like a folder, it is considered by the system to be a file.  So all you need to do is copy the crash report zip file to your Public DropBox folder and post the link, then the zip file, with the .dmp and the debug.err, can be opened and both files can be pulled out.

I know, it's weird how Win 7 calls a zip file: "Compressed (zipped) Folder (.zip)" however it is still a file in basic terms.  Just put the zip file to the Public folder of your DropBox and share the link. =)

Best regards,
Steven.

I finally went ahead and put the game in window mode (unchecked the FullScreen check box..) and I have not had ONE crash since.  I was crashing the game every few turns if I did anything except for end the turn.   Even then, it would sometimes crash at the research screen.

I am pretty shocked that it made such a difference, but for others that are tired of reloading or having to manually kill the Elemental.exe (after the crash) you may want to try the suggestions to run in window mode.

Unfortunately, I've been playing .805 in windowed mode since I installed it, and have experienced many crashes.  So while I hope it helps many of the rest of you, it's not a panacea.

I've been crashing as well.  Latest game went to turn 80, stuttered & waved bye-bye.

Here are the reports.

Reloaded that same game, and went on for a bit more until it crashed again.

Also, it seems to me that all of my crashes are related to research.  Research is completed, I select a tech, the 'Continue / New Goal' pop-up comes up, I select 'Continue'... and then the game stutters & crashes.
