[0.804] [Bug/Gameplay] New game started without tech tree

I was fooling around and my sovereign died in early game. So I was thrown back to the Main Menu and started a new game, but as soon I was able to do research, no goals were available. I continued anyway and it still increased the number of turns to complete a research, but I wasn't able to chose any and it didn't select any randomly as nothing came available (new spells to lern in Magic tree, inns to visit in Adventure tree)

Game-in-game is not supported in beta 2 (we're reworking the cleanup code). Make sure to always restart the game before loading a save or starting a new map.
