[Bug] Getting Married, Having Children without ever meeting

Sorry for not writing this in a more proper bug report format.

So I was checking out Beta 2-B and I ran into a female adventuer (My Sov. was male) and saw the Ring Icon to get married. So I proposed, and she agreed to become queen. I was able to recruit her from 3-4 tiles away. I then took my Sov in the other direction and sent her back to the city. My Sov continued adventuring, and next thing I know i'm being prompted that my wife has given birth!!! Wait a second...

It is impossible for her to have given birth to the Sov's child, which is why i'm marking this as a bug.

A possible solution might be to require both of them to be together (In a group or city) to have a kid, and make the calculate 2-3 turns before the child is born (so if they are together, than one leaves a kid could still be born for a few turns).

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you mean here.

I have 3 children and in all 3 cases I was out of the country when conception would have taken place and yet my wife says they're my children.

I simply integrated this same system into the game.

Some concepts are just better left abstract for the sake of fun.  It may seem cool when its just the sovereign to arrange conjugal visits for; but imagine arranging nooky time when your dynasty is 8 generations deep.

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you mean here.

Well if you had proposed to your wife from across the country and then never saw her before she had "your" children...

Anyway this doesn't bother me it would be too annoying to have to make your couples meet up every time you want to have kids.

My thoughts exactly.  Let's leave the arrangements to the imagination.  Arranging conjugal visits is a part of empire management I'm glad to have glossed over.

I think they are going for an abstracted version of marriage and birth. In that though for turns you may be out on the road, and not anywhere near her, in reality you guys visit every so often and sometimes, a new child is the product of those visits. Without going all boom chicka wow wow. Going for the idea that the Sovereign has a personal teleport spell every so often that they pops back on in with his wife/husband and spend some time in between you pressing the turn button.

All abstracted.

The Sovereigns probably just do what God did to Mary.
