[Crash] Unable to start the game

The new v0.804 does not work at all. Since the beginning the situation gets worse and worse. At this point I am not able even to start the game. I set antialiasing off and advanced lightning off. But it does not help either.

The new intro plays as a slide show. If I click on a main menu, it takes about 20 s till the program reacts. The same is when I try to create a new game. The game crashes in New game wizard.

At what point exactly does it crash? The debug.err file you provided shows the game exited normally.

Please submit subsequent files via dropbox or similar direct-download hosting. Free sites with speedbumps, captchas, and download limits make it more difficult to get the files (more so when it's in another language).

I was not sure what window was the last I saw, so I tried it again. After 15 minutes I was able to get to the place, where one can choose a channeler. I was able to change it to the ugly miner (I don't rember the name). After that I tried to continue to the next page, but after several minutes of waiting I gave up and shot Elemental down by Task manager (it did not respond).

I would guess some processes are being lock in the background or there is some issue with graphic card (I remember antialiasing and advanced lighnting, but those should be disabled. I modified the setting file in the filesystem. I was not able to do this in Elemental, because I was not able to get to the options with them, when they were turned on).

The computer is older, it has only one core, but it is still fast enough to support Mass effect 2 in the max resolution and the Witcher even on highest quality settings.

Great work! In Beta 3B I was able to start the game and play several turns. There were some issues still (I saw nothing in tactical combat), but even though it is a great improvement and it seems you are succesfully fighting the NVIDIA GeForce problems.

I updated my test machines ,and both the nvidia winxp machines stopped at the initial splash screen of the book for over 50 minutes, on my ati win7 boxes I was able to play a large map 5 faction game to am oom crash at turn 245. will test further tomorrow night due to work
