[.804][Bug][Bug][Pile of cockroaches?!!!] Summon Issues, Spell Bugs, City and Faction Oddities

Summon Crashes:  Whenever I try to summon a second giant with Famine.

Summon Graphics Bug: My storm giant looks like he's being crucified whenever he engaged in combat.  Somehow standing there like he's being nailed to a post with his arms stretched out he still clobbers things though.

Summon Combat Bug:  Summoned Unit is the name for all types of summons in combat.

 

Spell Bugs: Spells cannot be cast by a sovereign in town.

Spell Bugs: Each time I begin the game with the same sovereign, I have very different sets of available spells.  Lady Porcupine or Porcepine or Persephone or I'll just call her Porky for short.

Spell Bugs: Quite a few "tactical spells" are currently useless.  This might be by design since the "wars" are not in yet.

Spell Bugs...maybe:  You can summon flowers over mushrooms over most of the various options, but once you summon forest it's permanent.  It would seem if you could replace plantlife, that trees should be overwritten too.  Again, may be by design to prevent me from turning all the AI's territory into a bed of roses. 

Spell Bugs: Unable to replenish essence means that if you found more than 0 cities you cannot cast certain spells.

Spell Bugs: Certain spells do not use essence, others do.

Spell Bugs: Why can't I summon a swarm of bugs?  I mean...you've got enough of them in the coding, please let me summon a few?  New Spell: Summon Bug: Provides a 1hp 1atk 1def .5combat speed 2.0move cockroach. 

Spell Bugs: Bugs, B-U-G-S, bugs.  Correct, you've advanced to the next round of the spelling bee. 

 

City Building:   Certain factions do not have access to anything beyond the initial buildings -- merchant, library, garden, house.  And being unable to research them makes these factions (Kingdom of Altar) unplayable at least in multiplayer. 

City Building:   Resources outside the city radius show that their buildings can be constructed.  E.g.  A new city 4 blocks from an earth shard shows and earth shrine, but it cannot be placed yet.

City Building:  Occasionally, when switching buildings in the constuction menu, the placement of the new building is at a location other than the mouse cursor, usually offset by the difference in distance between the two icons in the build menu.

City Building:  Certain factions (multiplayer, Kingdom of Altair) cannot use any resources on the map.

Killing Sovereign:  Game crashed after I killed Lord Relias with my summoned unit and Lady Porcepine near his second city.

 

Unit Design:  A quest item (Maggie's Key) seems to be available to be designed into a unit at no charge.

Unit Design:  The magic ring of +1 defense has no price.

Unit Design:  It appeared in one game that the AI was building illegal, unresearchable, weapons.  Down with weapons!  Up with Magic!

 

City building:  The AI (Lord Relias) built his city outside his control radius.  I've only seen this happen on long, thin strips of land when the computer has nowhere else to build.

The bug here might only be in which spells require essence, since there are definitely spells that are supposed to require essence (e.g. Summon Familiar).

Not quite. If you click the sovereign icon in top left while they are in a city it brings you to the wrong selection screen on the bottom. You need to select a city then click the sovereign icon within that city to get the correct screen and be able to cast spells.
