} Would like a prompt confirming use of an item
There's already a little sound, but some glow or anything that isn't as intrusive as a pop-up would be fine.
} Would prefer to select the tech I want at the beginning, not as the result. Could be set, optional, or random
No way. The tech system is really appreciated by the devs and I really don't think they will change the way it works. A bit of random isn't a bad thing. I just hope they will implement a new rule : "gold techs" that you get for free when you have a lot more levels than the base level of the tech (a level 1 tech should be free if you're level 50), but no more than 1 free tech per level, so you can't get everything (that would kill the interest of the random and breakthrough system)
} Option for Hero classes to have preferred/barred weapon types (example: Farmers can't use swords)
I would prefer the opposite : everyone isn't skilled in anything, but if you get the skill "swordplay" you can use efficiently swords (if you're not efficient you get only half the bonuses from the sword for instance)
} Load Game selection under Options
They disabled it for now because you can't start a new game or load one within a game (it would lead to huge bugs and crashes. So to load/start new game you have, for now, to exit the program and launch it)
} Construction Window, would prefer "DONE" button on the right, closer to other dialogue boxes if moved
I agree. The "ok" button is usually on the right side of a window.
} Cycle cities in build window (left/right arrow)
Agree
} To close stat windows (person/city), click anywhere in the book, not just the red X
Not sure if it's a good idea : maybe later there will be interactions with the stats window. A bigger "X" button would be enough I think.
} Item Vault / Bank
MoM had it and it was really convenient. It could just be a list that tells where are evey items, and you could use some crystals to teleport items.
} selection for male/female in unit design
Agree
} Ability to eject more than one unit at once, or lock units into a group. Nice for pulling stacks out of cities
Creating armies, and giving them "bond". When some soldiers are fighting together for long they can get morale bonuses, flee bonuses, ambush bonuses, faster reactions and the like.
