[.803][Crash] Reloading "multiplayer" 1vAI save hangs on Creating World...

Are you supposed to be able to Save+Load a multiplayer (1vAI) game?  I tried this, and after clicking Load:

  • It took ~5 minutes for the "Creating World..." bar to go from white to full grey.
  • After this, it stayed at full grey for another ~5 minutes, after which I Alt-Tabbed and closed the game.  It had to be closed via the Task Manager because closing the window did nothing.

Notes:

  • I did not Alt-Tab during the first 10 minutes (which has been reported to cause loading to hang).
  • During these 10 minutes, the looping intro music never hung.
  • On the same machine, reloading a single-player save is usually very fast (<10s).

No moves have been made in this saved game.  I had restarted to change some video options.

No, it doesn't work yet.  I forgot to disable it.  When it does work, you'll have to download the save game from the server.
