Regarding messages & notifications

I think it would be better if, when you click on your notifications along the right side of the screen, that a left-click simply removes the message, while a right-click removes the message & centers you to whatever the message was about (city, hero, etc).  So after being told your Mine is done, you can either clear the message or clear it and zoom to the city.

Also, it would be great if you could TAB to the next city or unit with the city production window open, without having to close it first.  And what exactly is the 'build' button supposed to do?  It's not needed, so far as I can see....

I would like to add that adding a sound when you get a new message or notification would be nice. Like clashing swords for when training is done, and hammers banging in nails when buildings are finished. When a sovereign levels up they should get the classic Final fantasy lvl up sound! (jk sorta) You could also make the edges around the message boxes glow to attract your attention.

I say this because I usually dont notice when I get 1 or 2 messages only since atm its so tiny and in the upper right of the screen where I usually dont focus too much.

Another idea I just thought of is adding a simple sound when you select a city as well, something like Civ4 when you opened them up, you could hear horses and people talking. That would maybe be a bit too much but sometimes I have trouble selecting a city, but this is due to the nature of the beta. These aren't game breaking things but just "quality of life" suggestions.

Ya, I'm always missing the notifications.  They just don't stand out enough.

Not sure how this is possible?

Every City you own has an ICON in the upper left corner that when clicked takes you to that City immediately.

If you get a message about a City and are unsure where it is , mouse over the ICONS, the City name appears, when on the proper City, click to go to it.

I didn't properly explain that part, what I was trying to get as is that in my experience at least, when I want to select the current city im looking at, I go to click it and I'm not always aware to the fact I already had selected it. Thus sometimes I keep clicking it thinking it might've froze or something lol.

This could be the fact I'm not used to playing Elemental yet of course, and I'm more used to Civ IV's sounds when selecting a city. I know this isn't Civ IV but I think its a nice detail that could be added to improve the "quality of life" (can't think of a better term atm). Hope this clears things up a bit, thanks for the input!
