Game Turns Limited to 256?

Game always seems to stall on Turn 256. I go to end the turn and the Next Turn Arrow is disabled but the turn never progresses. Maybe you never intended games to go that high, but seems like an easy fix.

Can anyone else re-create this bug?

Can't say that I have had this problem.  I've had several games go much higher than 256 turns.

. . .What's your extent of experience with Turn Based Games?

That said, I seem to be fine in this area of nonsense.

In beta 1 I got to 1000+ turns several times, and so far in beta 2 800+ and counting.

In my experience they go far higher, this was one of my first times playing Elemental and I'm not sure what the Dev's intended. I personally thought 256 was unreasonable.

I'll try changing some settings, races, champions, etc. and see what's affecting it. So far it seems like it's just me.

Have you tried saving, quitting, restarting and reloading?  That may clear up any memory leaks/problems or the like that may be contributing to your problem.

Also try to reduce some settings to minimum and if that improves things, slowly increase them til it becomes a problem again.

And remember to send in bug reports so they know how to fix the problems!

Ditto. Saving increases stability for me for some reason.

No debug.err is generated in the current version [should be fixed for the next beta], and since his EWoM freezes, dump files won't be generated if he kills the process after CTRL-ALT-DEL

It may well be related to a memory leak if it consistantly happens after a certain number of turns which would then vary according to the amount of memory on the machine you ran it on.
