[0.802][Freeze] Alt+tabbing while loading a save

Great, it seems that this  messed up the whole game for me now Whenever I try to start it now it minimizes itself straight to the task bar and stays there.  

That sounds like the same behavior on startup that I got running in windowed mode at certain resolutions. I wonder if they're related. You could try looking in the preferences file and seeing if anything looks out of whack.

Reinstalling the game helped for that minimizing at startup problem. I'm just gonna avoid minimizing it when it's loading from now on...

From my experience and many other posts. <alt><tab> always crashes the game. I don't think it has anything to do with when you <alt><tab>.

If you happen to do this again by accident, please post your debug.err file as it might contain errors that will help us track this down.  

I'm not sure why it would break to the point of needing to re-install; losing the device usually doesn't cause permanent damage.  Did you try rebooting before you tried re-installing? 

I might be wrong, but isn't debug.err only created if the game crashes? I didn't try restarting, but if this happens again I'll try it first!

No, the debug.err file is created all the time (except for .802 when it got accidentally turned off).  It's the dump .dmp or .zip file that's produced on a crash.
