How to raise taxes and show newly created troops?

Two questions:

1) How can I raise taxes so that my gold doesn't start dropping?

2) Where are my newly created units stored?  How can I select them?

Thanks!

So I figured out the answer to question 2.  Still wondering about the taxes, if anyone can help :)

To raise taxes you must build a tax office (I think), but there is no way to raise or lower taxes, the tax office produces a certain amount of gold per turn like the market.

You don't collect taxes.  All gold is produced by buildings (tax office is one option for that, but you can also have merchants, markets, bazaars, and the like)

Yea ... I feel that you should be able to raise taxes in an individual city (but -1 prestige per tax level increased)

also, it should require a tax office to be built. (tax revenue should increase based upon # of economic buildings, gold output, and population)

Otherwise ... tax offices should give more moneh

End of Tasunke's quote

I don't understand the purpose of tax offices at all.  If I'm collecting money from a market, aren't I collecting it via taxes?

I get the impression that Taxes aren't in yet.
If you check the Kingdom Report income from "Buildings" is separated from income from Taxes, and a there are a bunch of other sources that don't seem to do anything.
