When I founded my fourth city using a group of the Sov and two swordsmen, the tip said it would cost 100 G, but it in fact cost 300.
Earlier in the same game, the second city founded by the Sov alone, the tip said 0 G, but in fact it cost 100.
I have experienced a discrepancy for building the first city: I have recruited lots of NPC and my treasury was below 100. I wasn't able to build the first city since the button was greyed out and told me that I need 100 gildars. After having found more gildars, my treasury was above 100 and the build button was available. I clicked on it, founded my first city, and the treasury didn't change, meaning that the first city is free.
Yeah seen this as well, Seems like the first city is free, and the rest cost more and more G's, but the tool tip doesn't reflect this.
And I can build a city that cost 100+ as long as I got 100.
Do cities ever cost more than 100? When I was playing last night I wanted to build a city but was poor so canceled some buildings under construction which put me at like 115. After placing the city I dropped to something around -87.
