[.802][bug] duplicate character (noble) on map - artifact

When escorting a noble during a quest (total party of 4), I believe when adding the 4th character the noble "duplcated" and was left behind in the tile.  Mouse-over of the character showed nothing-- character exists but cannot move.  Screenshot on Jing here (duplicate character on right)

I have duplicated an image of a character (Rilis), when I changed equipment and then moved.  The duplicated image is the correctly equipped character, and the image which is where the character actually is, is the old equipment.

I had the thing happen to me, except both of the images, the "real" one and the "fake" were updated with the correct equipment.

I have had this happen sometimes too when forming groups.  In my case it did not involve moving equipment.

This happened to me once, but for no reason my character(champion) was just moving across the map and boom an image of him was frozen on the map
