I know on the facebook site it say *maybe* this week, but how is it looking? Just want to know so I can schedule more free time to beta test instead of thinking about things for the army.

They did say 24 hours that's technically today.
BUT with a beta you can never be sure problems may occur.

We are now beta testing the notification process. You may or may not appropriately get the invite in the next 24 hours. If not, we will have it in beta2a.1c

I tell my kids "soon" often. Usually, hoping they will forget and we can delay whatever it is...say, until the end of Summer.
(I know that is not gonna happen in this case, kryo. The board denizens would not stand for it.)
They're still "Preparing" and you know what happens if you skip that.
Would that be "Soon" as in a couple more hours or "Soon" as in Later Tonight, probably closer to Midnight 
?
Then again "Soon" could even mean "Things f'ked up, maybe this weekend or next week". It just all depends on what you call "Soon". lol

I hope that Beta 2 makes it's debut today (6/11/2010) to the beta playing testing public. While I have been tinkering about steadily on the cloth map, it will be nice to take a large step closer to seeing where Elemental is headed. Also, it's much easier to explain to people why I'm excited about the potential of this game when they aren't asking me if I'm excited about Pong being remade soon as well. (No offense cloth map only, you have served long and well.)
