Problems with ForgeTools-need help

Hi everyone. First I have to tell you that even though I've almost completed three huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge maps and I've got sick of the game two times, I hadn't registered it till yesterday. I am a noob. The matter is, I have updated my game to v 1.19. When I try to install ForgeTools, a warning pops up and tells me that the folder these programs are to be installed in does not exist, and suggests that I run Entrenchment. I don't know what this is, and I have no idea what the hell is wrong because all I did when I installed the game was to put it in the default location. And now, the game actually tells me the location it installed itself is invalid, so I can't install those tools. I don't get it...

And, apart from that, I have no idea how ParticleForge works. How do I edit default particle effects to build my own? Or, generally, how do I make custom particle effects?

Finally, for the reason I stated before, I can't install mods. Can someone help me?

Forgetools 3 is pain. I can give you instructions and possibly the old particle forge at least. Forgetools 3 as opposed to the old forgetools, is that it finds the game's directory and it uses those files. The old forgetools used only what you put in with it, meaning, if you had the necessary files, it would work even if you did not have the game installed on the comp.

Galaxy Forge 3 should work regardless of what you have on the computer.

Particle Forge 3 is the real pain of forgetools 3. Do you want particle forge 1.6? It still works just as well as PF3, just a couple of crash issues are the only noticeable difference. if you wish to know things about any PF, I can give you just about any info regarding it.

Forgetools 3 is just a .rar, so you should have extracted it onto your desktop. Copy d3dx9_36.dll from your sins directory and into the PF3 folder. It should run then. Post again if the problem persists.

Does this help/make sense?
