Made the plunge and pre-ordered the game today.

 

Is it possible to get Beta 1 until the time Beta 2 comes out? Also does this mean I am guaranteed a Beta 2 invite? :)

Also I only got an order number from Stardock, no serial number, so can anyone please give some advice on how this works on registering on Impulse please?

If you get charged (and only if), then you have access to the beta.

First, be sure to check the "show pre-release version" in the options tab of impulse.

Then you should see Elemental in your list of games.

Then, enjoy !

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you know why I haven't been charged by Stardock, I did order the one with S&H for the real CD but am happy for money to be taken now. Just a bit confused sorry.

You will be charged when Beta 2 is released. So no, you cannot get beta 1, until then.

And yes, by pre-ordering now, you are guaranteed to be in Beta2.
