Running late... again.

Well, I do try to get up an article a day, but some days it just doesn't work out for me....  today I'm running late yet again.  Too much running around after work (out for dinner at my favorite/regular stop) and then got myself back into clean-up mode here in the home.  More shredding.  Lots more shredding.  A big Hefty trashbag full of shredding.  A filebox (give or take) full of shredding.

Sadly, I still have a lot more shredding to do.  I really, really gotta check into places that would take a big bag from me and destroy it for me because I just have too much that needs to be disposed of.  At the rate that I'm finding stuff that needs to be destroyed versus the rate I'm shredding it, well, I'm falling behind badly.

I do get a sense of acccomplishment as I empty the fileboxes though, and I would have that same sense if I could knock through a bit of the pile of stuff that needs to be shredded, at least enough to see the pile shrinking.

I'm feeling badly in that I've also been letting stuff pile up on my desk again and need to get it tidyed up again.  I may make some headway there this weekend.  At some point I might look around in the home and consider it "done", but I know that moment won't last at all.  Still, it is my goal to get the place looking nice enough that the only mess is whatever gets created from that point on...

Oh well, it's late, I'm tired, and I really need to get some sleep.  Hopefully back at a more reasonable hour "tomorrow" (later today).
