What Did You Play this Weekend?

I finally got a decent little chunk of Elemental beta time and was quite impressed with how much there is on the map now. It has me quite anxious for the first build where we can try the larger maps where there will hopefully be a distinctly different early game that's just about your sovereign and the world around him or her, with many turns before the other sovereigns come out of the fog of war.

The same game I've played the past many years - NFS Racedriver GRID.

I had a bit of a rough weekend personally, so I didn't play a ton of games.

I ended up mostly playing Stalker: Clear Sky. I'm trying to do the games in chronological order (bought both of the other two off of Impulse). And just before I got on to post this, I finished my first game of Sins Trinity. Cool game, but the ending was....abrupt. In a 3-way game, the other two empires had at least two planets left. I just about had one conquered and then I was congratulated for winning.

Well, I play Modern Warfare 2 all the time till something new comes out that I like. I did give Eve Online a try but after 5 minutes on a single tutorial I decided this game was not worth the amount of tutorials just to get started. What ever happened to point, click and go games Like Star Trek Armada II and The Sims?

I played Dawn of War:Dark Crusade, Dawn of War:Soul Storm, Dark Crusade-Pro, Dawn of War 2, and  Fall from Heaven 2.

I also cut three tatami mats with a clay-tempered cloud sword (Korean katana)

i watched the indy cars go round and round. btw, john andretti's petty blue/stp red car looks great in person. i don't know who she is but that tall female drink of water walking around in the izod firesuit is HAWT!

Civ 4 Fall further... leading swarms of giant spiders and "Mother" over the world... and then undead as the Scions of Patria. (While I should be working)

Elemental - very cool, but its crashing alot.

Defense Grid - resinstalled and beat the campaign in one sitting without loosing a core. I love the game.

God of War on PS3 - Like it, but hate those JnR parts. I have no patience for it. 

For some inexplicable reason, I re-subbed to Everquest II.  Bury my head in that until I get Elemental access.

Played Just Cause 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

I played "re-installing-XP-cause-Win7-s****-big-time" from Microsoft. One of the worst games so far in human history.

Alan Wake

I raged all weekend about my EVE account being banned. It was apparently hacked and has since been returned to me. Nice to wake up to.

In other gaming news:

Tropico 3 (Sans the expansion, I'm still getting through the vanilla game)

Age of Mythology (The urge struck me, so I reinstalled, patched and played a couple games of Blood Fort. Damn you nostalgia!)

A boat load of Alititude, a neat little indie game that is way funner than it should be.

Dawn of Discovery (Going from 10 hours played to 23. ) I do love me some city-builders.

And finally, about 10 minutes of Half-Life, courtesy of a friend. I then remembered I hate the stuff, and uninstalled it.

Some "Elemental" beta, "Spellforce" and some "Gabriel Knight: Sins of the fathers".

Demigod.. gogo Demigod tournament woo.

Also, first for demigod lolol.

I actually played some Civ4: Rhyes and Fall mod and SC2 beta.

I'm really into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 right now. Good stuff.

Team Fortress 2

I played Mowthelawn 1.0 and drivetogainesville 3.9 with a few hours of cleanthebackporch online thrown in.

I thought about playing Elemental, but was afraid of having fun, so I didn't.  Instead I played a bit of WoW - just starting out with my girlfriend, been a nice time killer so far.  I also played League of Legends, my current standby.

Demigod

Umm.... Team Fortress 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Sins of a Solar Empire (Distant Stars Mod), and re-downloaded Guild Wars, Homeworld2 (Complex Mod), Left 4 Dead 2.
