Ah well....it looks like that the save/load system still isn't working flawlessly. I tried to reload a saved game [autosave], but the game locked-up on the first try [I had to kill the process after CTRL-ALT-DEL]. I managed to reload the saved game on the second try.

Pretty much the same problem. I can't load any auto saves ever...they never load for me. I can however load games I saved manually my self.
I was able to reload several times, but eventually hit the same problem. Up to turn 370-something, much farther than I ever got before.

First it hung when I tried to select "housing" after researching new tech. Then I (foolishly) tried to load and it hung, so how I only have info on the load hang.
I'm getting this also, although it seems to me to be less frequent that it was in earlier betas.
Just happened again. My dual-core processor was 50% busy until I blew it off. Why do I think if I had quad-core it would have been 25%?

Still vastly more stable on XP 32-bit than any prior version.
My 8 core I7 is at 16%
